Fitness is not only my profession, it's my life. I have been focused on health and fitness since grade school because of my life long battle with Crohn’s disease.
Through the years, I have grown from gathering information and educating myself on health and wellness because I had to, to doing so because I wanted to! I became driven to not only be “healthier” as a person but perform better as an athlete.
I have had some amazing coaches, teachers, and different influences in my life, that have helped me to understand the importance of living a healthier, happier and more prosperous life. I would like to leave a similar legacy.
I believe in living a healthy, balanced, active, and FUN lifestyle. I enjoy and believe in guiding others down the same path.
With my vast years of experience in different areas of health and wellness, I blend together the best fundamentals and concepts of all my studies to offer our members comprehensive fitness programs, that provides a complete and balanced life.

I feel the most effective way to elicit long-lasting, positive change in a person’s life is through building a strong relationship founded on trust, understanding, and fun.
Through my 15+ years within the fitness industry, I have been fortunate enough to work with and learn from some of the most forward-thinking coaches and professionals in our field (Ben Bergeron, Austin Malleolo, Chris Hinshaw, Dave Durante, etc). They taught me how to create an environment for gym members focused on growing and having fun.
For me, one of the most purposeful aspects of coaching is getting to watch a member do something which they fully believed they were not capable of. I have worked with older athletes, that haven't been able to reach full depth on a squat their entire life, to adaptive and special needs athletes who were told that they had already reached their "full potential", to athletes setting PR's and chasing competitive aspirations in their sport. Seeing someone reach a goal and then see them go even further is an amazing experience, it’s what keeps me coming back through the doors with a smile on my face.

My passion is to help anyone, and everyone to reach their goals and to encourage others to use their stories to inspire. I love to see people happy, healthy, and confident in themselves! We are infinite in our capabilities and responsibilities to reach out and help one another be the best we can be.
I strive to be the best coach I can to embolden, grow, and energize those who walk through our doors. Another reason I love coaching is that I get to work with and learn from amazing people every day, which not only makes me a better coach, but a better person.
My passion for health and fitness spans 20+ years, starting with growing up in Michigan playing ice hockey year-round. I attended preparatory boarding school and played ice hockey, soccer, lacrosse, rugby, and ran cross country throughout high school into college. I started CrossFit in 2016 and could not ask for a better community or way to stay healthy and happy.
I am currently pursuing a massage therapy license in Hudson, NH as well as degrees in healthcare management and business administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
I am always looking for ways to improve myself and add value to my coaching. This includes research, asking LOTS of questions, and certifying in coursework that will best develop my skills for the member’s benefit. I walk through TUFF’s doors every day to impact our members and coaches to be positive, forward-thinking individuals and of course, to have fun and laugh as much as possible!

In a world where we are tethered to screens, I am a firm believer in getting outside, having fun, smiling, and finding joy in the simplest things.
Working as a nurse, I constantly see how unhappy and unhealthy we can become. If I can encourage one person to take the stairs instead of the elevator, eat a vegetable with lunch, or just smile one more time in the day, I feel I accomplished something great.

As a college and high school soccer coach for 15 years, I tried to instill that camaraderie is a core component in playing any sport. I have been a Special Olympics coach for over 10 years and honestly, these are some of the best athletes I have been fortunate enough to work with. I enjoy watching them encourage each other and strive to give it their all. It’s truly inspiring.
I have been with CrossFit TUFF since the beginning. I love the competition, friendship, and the healthy lifestyle that the CrossFit community is about. I believe that bringing out the best in others, in turn, brings out the best in you.
Here are a few of my favorite things: Family, Mountain Biking, craft beer, hockey and obstacle races. By the way, running in a kilt rocks!
I’m a full- time mom and a wellness advocate. I help people understand how to achieve health and wellness from the inside out. I coach because I personally love fitness and am passionate about showing people how to use it to benefit their lives in and outside of the gym.

I am a Master Athlete, a professional, I volunteer for community organizations (NSO & NSK), and I have an amazing family. So, I understand and appreciate the importance of a balanced life.
I have been with the CrossFit TUFF community since its inception, and I can honestly say TUFF is my home away from home. I consider all the members of this gym my extended family.
Being a coach with TUFF allows me the opportunity to connect even further and share my experience with other members. That's a pretty awesome thing.
Colonel - Richard Duncan
I am a retired Army Ranger and most people refer to me as the Colonel. I enjoy coaching our members. I feel it's important to encourage people to do more, to raise the bar when it comes to fitness and improving their overall health. We truly do get out what we put in, and I ensure my bootcamp has an all-in approach that is matched with all ability levels. You come here to feel good and it's my mission to make sure it's accomplished.
