Our CrossFit classes here at TUFF concentrate on educating you in the fundamentals of strength and conditioning. This system of training is built around functional movements done at high intensity with lots of variance. Combining weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardiovascular activities in as many ways as there are possible, you will improve in all physical skills! JOHNNY D’S SIGNATURE BOOTCAMPS

Our “bootcamp” classes are designed for anyone and everyone! Anyone from beginners to advanced athletes can get the most out of these interval workouts with our scalable movements. We train the entire body in a 360 degree realm using all sorts of methods and implements. Dumbbells, kettlebells, ropes, rings, slamballs and your own bodyweight will have you sweating bullets, burning fat, and getting amazing results FAST!

ONE-ON-ONE and SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING

Some people may need, or just prefer, a more private and focused training atmosphere with a coach. Whether you want to work on specific personal goals, dial in technique for fundamental or complex movements, or work on a customized built nutrition plan, this is the best option for you. All one-on-one and semi-private sessions are custom built around you and your specific wants and needs. Contact us for your complimentary consultation.

YOUTH STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CLASSES

Our goal, as youth coaches, is to educate and motivate each young athlete to reach a whole new level of physical development. Through this adventure you will not only see noticeable gains in their physical awareness and athletic capabilities, but huge improvements in their self-confidence, respect towards others in a team environment, and an excitement towards an active lifestyle.

Classes focus on fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, throwing, climbing, crawling, pushing, and pulling. Like our adult bootcamps we use primarily bodyweight exercises, but also combine lots of fun functional and non-traditional equipment to keep the class fun and exciting!

I contacted John about getting my high school lacrosse players into TUFF. I shared with him the need for the boys to become physically stronger and faster, but I also noticed a need for them to be pushed extremely hard together towards a common goal. As young athletes I was also concerned about their eating habits. John assured me that by working with him he could make the boys warriors! One month into CrossFit and the boys who are participating are noticeably faster and stronger. John has measurable goals for the boys to meet and they can actually see their progress. What I love about John is his ability to actually “teach” how to properly lift and take care of your body. He spent a lot of time making sure the boys’ form and technique were proper so they wouldn’t hurt themselves. In addition to that, he set up a nutritional seminar for the boys and their parents to explain the importance of eating the right kinds of foods. This experience has been amazing because I have been able to workout side by side with my athletes, having them push me and me push them, and watching them support and encourage eachother.
